Just back from New Orleans and the SLA Annual Conference. It was a terrific conference in a variety of ways - more to come! - but I wanted to get this information out sooner rather than later.
You can view my share of the presentation with the wonderful Kim Dority at SlideShare.
A few questions that came up:
- What social networks are in use in non-US countries?
TechCrunch: A Map of (Social) Network Dominance
Global Web Index - data
This is an interactive map that shows not specific social tool usage, but usage
by country and by type of usage (photo or video sharing, networking, blogs,
microblogs).
- Where can I find lists of blogs by librarians and info pros?
100 Best Blogs for Librarians of the Future (Learn-gasm)
Broken out by area of focus.
- Twitter directories mentioned:
You can search for expertise, information, industries, location by
tags. List yourself, search for others.
D'OH! No, it's not you, thanks for letting me know. Should be all fixed now. Thanks Rachel!
